Who We Are

New Leaf Electric is a San Diego company with roots that have grown in the Solar PV industry for nearly a decade. We started New Leaf Electric because we recognize the need for a quality full service electrical contractor in the PV industry. We aim to help individual homeowners improve their energy use, support electrical and solar PV contractors, and work with building owners, investors, and general contractors so we can continue to develop the solar infrastructure in California. 


New Leaf Electric aims to educate customers about the electrical industry and available options for energy generation, transmission and storage. We promise to stay current on all available technologies and we will always maintain exceptional service at affordable prices.

Eric Lieberman 

Eric has been involved in the electrical industry since his teenage years as an apprentice operating out of Pennsylvania. Once Eric moved to Arizona where he began training in the Solar PV industry, he quickly realized the demand for a skilled PV journeyman electrician in San Diego. With previous installation experience mainly on government and military bases, Eric understands quality and safety that supersedes OSHA and NEC minimum requirements. Eric also has serviced and maintained all major brands of equipment used in the PV and Electric Vehicle charging station industries.

Brad Fort​

With over 10 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Industry, Brad has a passion for changing the way we power our world. As part of the Energy Revolution, Brad is dedicated to decentralized energy and a microgrid approach to the way we power our communities. While specializing in Military, Government and Utility Projects, Brad has personally managed over 15MW of on grid and off grid solar projects and has experience working in remote locations. Brad has his NABCEP and Project Management Professional certifications and a degree in Construction Management, that have chartered his success for the last decade in this this industry.
